Well it’s been a busy year for us all and the Christmas season is upon us. The latter part of the year has seen a lot of changes happen with the new expansion changing the way we raid and how the guild operates.
We have been reduced in raiding numbers by a number of factors, people quitting the game, the content being less challenging and people simply needing a break from the game.  We have also seen the launch of another big MMO, which has divided peoples time and left people seeking the force.

As the year has ended we have also seen a change in Guild leads with Cherrycoke taking over the task from Indigo in the last week.

Indigo has been GM of our guild for over 6 years now and  has spent endless hours of her personal time supporting the guild and holding it together in times of crisis and managing many of the guild activities we take for granted.
Personally I’m sad to see her step down but with work commitments and other pressing things to do, she has relinquished the lead so that we appoint someone new.

Thanks Indi for all your help and support over the years and hope you don’t disappear into RL and continue to help us out.

As to the guild and its raiding activities we have also decided to focus more on 10 man raiding as it has become harder to get a 25 man together and having 10 man raids as a temporary stop gap will be the best way forward. This does not rule out that we may go back to 25 man when the time is right.

We have also managed to clear 6/7 on normal mode raids to date and its only a matter of days before Deathwing is down and we can start the Heroics.

Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest aquired by Indigo!!

Well we did it, well Indigo actually.  The guild is now the proud owner of the Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest after weeks of grinding Firelands.

A big congrats to Indigo, our GM, on getting the staff and a big thanks to all those that have helped out with the raids over the past months. Here are some screenies and of course the statutory movie!! Enjoy.

 

Note: i changed the "purchased" (a bad choice of words in hindsight) as its would seem people thought we hadnt raided the last  &^%* in months for three nights a week to get it.

Lightwalkers are currently recruiting for 25 man raiding…

 

Classes we are looking for are

 

Single target healers  - Holy Paladin

AOE healing – Resto Druid and Shaman

DPS – Warlock+ Hunter + Shadow Priest

 

 

We raid three times a week : Thur, Sun, Tue 19:45-23:45  Server time and are looking for well equipped people up for the task of higher end raiding.

Well that’s two bosses down, after a couple of hours of  climbing up and down string and killing mini spiders Beth the old spider bag and her crawling minions have now been Terminated!! That 2/7 in 25 man and the rest to go.

Well after clearing 12/12 on normal Cata the guild is looking to start some 25-man heroics and we will be recruiting more peeps to help. We want to continue to clear some of the normal content with some heroics thrown in for good measure whilst we finish to gear some people up.

Classes we are looking for are as follows:-


  • Shadow Priest
  • Rogue
  • Mage
  • Warlock
  • Hunter- Closed
  •  Boomkin
  • Deathnight (DPS)

So hurry along and log your interest on our forums or speak to Indigo, Cherrycoke, Shingouki, Macapple, Zanavir, Vireni, Chemopal  or Stalwart if you need a discrete application.
